Shipping and Policies

Processing time on orders varies. I do my best to get orders out quickly. Smaller orders where it's just a couple simple swan neck or standard thumb splints I can generally have out to you in a few days. Larger or more complicated orders take longer, generally 1-3 weeks. Please bear in mind that during times where I receive a large volume of orders, like when I run sales or specials, or when specialty wires are needed, processing time can take 4-5 weeks. Please remember, it's just little ol me here. I do everything myself, from the website and emails to supply ordering and production, and each splint is custom handmade to order which is a time intensive process.

 

Domestic orders are shipped via USPS first class mail as a standard. Transit time is generally 2-3 business days. Insurance is available and recommended for higher priced orders. Uninsured shipments lost or damaged in transit will not be eligible for refund or replacement.

International orders are shipped via USPS first class international. Transit time is generally 1-2 weeks, but some locations and more outlying areas can take up to 6. In general international orders will have arrived by the 4th week, even to remote locations. Upgraded shipping options are available for international orders, such as priority mail which will also allow postal insurance to be added. Uninsured shipments lost or damaged in transit  will not be eligible for refund or replacement.

Please ensure your address when you check out with Paypal is correct. Shipping labels are generated by Paypal and to ensure protection for both buyers and sellers cannot be changed. As I've recently experienced significant losses from shipping to a requested changed address, I absolutely cannot change addresses from what was entered with Paypal. Any shipments returned to me for missing or incomplete address or in the case of international shipments where they were never picked up from customs will not be eligible for a refund, but I will of course be happy

to send them back out to you for the cost of the reshipment.

If you receive your order and there is something wrong, please let me know within a week of delivery. Please keep in mind that as all splints are custom made to order there may be slight variations from pictured (no two swirls come out exactly the same, no two hammered finishes are exactly alike).



If something doesn't fit I offer free resizes on all of my ring splints. If there's another issue I am happy to set up an exchange for you. I want to make sure you have a comfortable splint that functions well, so even if you need a completely different type of splint switching it out is no problem. 

Because all items are custom made to order, I cannot accept returns, but if something doesn't fit I always offer free resizes.

Please note that there may be an additional charge for supply cost for some resizes if incorrect measurements were originally provided. While splints can usually be sized smaller, splints that need to be larger have to be remade.

Buyer is responsible for shipping costs for resizing.

Order cancellations are not accepted.


Should you receive your order and have an issue with it, please contact me immediately. Above all, I want every one of my customers to be happy. If there is something wrong with your order, I will be happy to fix it, ESPECIALLY if it is my mistake. If you receive your item and would like something altered or added, I will happy to do so for a small fee. (Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges)..
